ArtWorks Studio – Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • “ArtWorks Studio” / “ArtWorks” means our online educational platform, including video tutorials, guides, theory/history modules, live sessions, and related materials.

  • “Content” means all videos, images, artworks, lesson plans, downloads, text, templates, and resources provided via ArtWorks.

  • “Subscription” means a paid yearly access plan to ArtWorks.

  • “Individual Plan” means a single-user licence intended for a teacher, tutor, or home educator.

  • “School Plan” means a multi-user licence for a school or organisation, limited to the number of three licences purchased.

  • “User” / “you” means the person or organisation purchasing or accessing ArtWorks.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Subscription or using ArtWorks, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

3. Who Can Use ArtWorks

You confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old, and

  • you are legally able to enter into a contract, and

  • if purchasing on behalf of a school/organisation, you have authority to bind that organisation.

4. What You Receive

During an active Subscription, you receive:

  • access to ArtWorks videos and modules,

  • access to any downloadable supporting resources included in your plan,

  • access to any live or recorded training sessions included in your plan,

  • updates and additions we make to the platform during your Subscription term.

We may update, replace, or remove Content to keep ArtWorks current and high quality.

5. Accounts and Access

  • You must create an account to access ArtWorks.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

  • You must not share logins outside your purchased licence type.

  • We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused or shared beyond the licence purchased.

6. Subscriptions, Renewal and Pricing

  • Subscriptions are billed annually 365 days after your initial purchase.

  • Pricing is displayed at checkout and may change for future renewals.

  • Unless stated otherwise, Subscriptions auto-renew yearly.

  • We will provide clear renewal information before your renewal date, and you can cancel renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting us: [email protected]

7. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your Subscription at any time.

  • Cancellation stops future renewals, but you will keep access until the end of your paid term.

  • We do not provide partial refunds for unused time unless required by law or stated in Section 8.

8. Refunds

Because ArtWorks is digital content supplied immediately, your statutory 14-day cancellation right may be lost once access begins, if you consent to immediate access at checkout.  

However, we offer the following policy (edit to match what you want):

  • 14-day satisfaction guarantee for new subscribers: If you are unhappy for any reason within 14 days of first purchase, contact us for a full refund.

9. Copyright and Licence (Very important)

All Content on ArtWorks Studio — including but not limited to videos, paintings, images, lesson materials, guides, slides, text, and templates — is owned by ArtWorks Studio and/or The Paint Club Ltd, and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

When you purchase a Subscription, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Content for:

  • your own personal learning, and/or

  • teaching within your classroom or home-education setting, and/or

  • teaching within your organisation within the number of licences purchased.

You must not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, publish, or upload the Content online,

  • share Content outside your licence limits,

  • remove watermarks, branding, or copyright notices,

  • use Content to create competing products or services,

  • record, screen-capture, or redistribute videos or modules.

This licence ends automatically when your Subscription expires or is terminated.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use ArtWorks in any way that breaches laws or regulations,

  • attempt to hack, scrape, or interfere with the platform,

  • share your account with unauthorised users,

  • upload harmful or inappropriate content or comments.

We may suspend access if these rules are broken.

11. User-Generated Content

If you upload or share student artwork, comments, or feedback:

  • you confirm you have the right to share it,

  • you grant us permission to display it within ArtWorks and for marketing only if you explicitly opt-in or give consent.
    You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

12. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for having:

  • a suitable device and internet connection,

  • compatible software/browser.
    We are not responsible for access issues caused by your equipment or connection.

13. Liability and Disclaimers

  • We provide ArtWorks “as is” and aim for high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

  • We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our control (e.g., platform outages, internet failure).

  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.  

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect improvements or legal changes. If changes are significant, we will notify active subscribers. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
